Our Trips

Departing from the safe haven of South Bay Marina, it’s a quick ride to some of the richest fishing grounds in the region.

With all your fishing gear provided, you can expect some thrilling fishing action, all while surrounded by impressive local wildlife and the breathtaking views of the Seaward Kaikōura Mountain Ranges.

At the end of your trip, your catch will be cleaned, bagged, and ready for you to enjoy at home or have prepared at a local restaurant - you can’t get much fresher than that!.

What You Can Expect to Catch

You’ll likely reel in Perch and Blue Cod, and you’ll get hands-on with checking our craypots - a unique opportunity to see how the local crayfish industry works. 

Malcolm will re-bait your hooks and expertly fillet your catch on board, and who knows - you might even get to go home with a live crayfish!
